On

Valence a hilly ride of about 60 miles... |

PARK CITY, UT TO BEAK LAKE, ID
December 17, 2007
After
moving to Park City, Utah on December 31, 2005, I
found myself struggling to just get by. With all the
time and money I had invested in my new home, I was
unable to find the time or the funds to undertake
a long distance bicycle tour. This would be the first
time in six years that I had not spend the entire
summer on my bike... |

December 7, 2007
After
finishing my 2003 East

In

ALFF'S 2001 BICYCLE TOUR

At
age 17, I was a senior in high school and was just

BIKE TRIPS
February 6, 2008
We
took the BikeFridays to Helsinki and made our way
all the way up to Rovaniemi on the Arctic Circle ("Napapiiri"
in Finnish). We took ferries and trains too but pedaled
about 750 kilometers (500 miles). Finland is ideal
for bicycle touring. There are excellent bike route
guides and maps, dedicated "bicycle roads"
between many cities and inside virtually all towns... |
